Coffee has definitely seen a surge in the UK in recent years, what with increasing numbers of chains creating and sharing wonderful, freshly roasted coffee with all of us. We’ve been sure to engage those coffee elements with our baking, so that we can create tasty and well-rounded bakes that will be beloved by all. Perhaps the best thing about this coffee cake is the fact that it’s a cafe latte cake – the coffee flavour isn’t too pronounced, instead the flavour is smooth, gentle, and wonderfully well-rounded. This means that the cake could easily be enjoyed with a cup of hot coffee, with neither option taking away from the other.
Café Latte Cake
With the taste of coffee running throughout, this light sponge cake features coffee flavoured cream and icing. Finished with white chocolate flakes.
