Rhubarb and ginger are a great combination, and we’re certain that the best place and time to see this wonderful combination is in a dish just like this one. The tartness and sharp flavour of great rhubarb is only enhanced by the rich and gentle spiciness of a great ginger content, leading to a combination that’s bright and wonderfully well-flavoured. Often, a sponge pudding can be seen as a little too heavy after a large meal. In this case, not only is it the case in the texture. (as with all our puddings) but it’s the case with the bright, unique flavour, too!
